Daniel Folsom (my 4th great grandfather) went to Industry about 1809; settled in the southern part of the town next to the Stark line; cleared a few acres,built a small house which he afterward enlarged. He returned to Sandwich where he married, and then returned to Industry. About 1860 the old house was destroyed. a new one having been built. The farm is now deserted (1908) and the buildings in decay. |
